Things have changed,
You tell me you believe
in substantiality
like magic never existed,
Conversations consist
of stock options,
interest earned,
and ruthless advancement.
respectability is
a facade,
you've been swallowed
gigantically by Jonah's
whale
All the frameworks
and impossible dreams
have been
packaged and appropriately delivered
to an inappropriate
house of Fools.
It's there in
your blinking eyes open-shut,
the way
we once were,
is now, to you, a book of
totally useless
information

Welcome to passions. Economic rationalism and political correctness RULE!  ... but what of mystery and magic hmmmm.
Good poem, look forward to more.
Be well

but it is the loss that shapes the image,

to post and read poetry, Thank you all,

Welcome, welcome to passions and the best addiction that you will ever have, my friend... With words such as yours, I see that you have much to share and I look forward to all of it.

Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.
