Is there someone out there.. Who needs to hold a hand? You're not asking much.. Just a friend to understand.. One who really cares.. Because they've been there, too.. Is there such a thing as a friend who will not walk away from you? There are many faces.. Some friendly and some cruel.. And you never know.. Some play you for a fool.. Still you have to try.. Fate will play her role.. And you'll find that friend who will take you in and ease your weary soul...... Is there someone out there.. who needs a friendly smile? Has your load been heavy? I will carry it awhile.. Just a friendly offer.. From one who understands.. Maybe I need you like you need me.. I'm holding out my hand...... Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

There are many out there my dear... open your mind and in will step those that are kind... open your heart and friendship will start... open your soul and true kindness will make it full... This is a wonderful poem, wonderfully written, and so many have asked the same questions...I just happen to know that they will be answered sooner or later and when they are you will be amazed... this is also to darkstar: there always is someone who will be there if you need him/her... you only have to find that person... but mostly, you don't have to search for him/her, they will come to you... Very nice poem Sunny. I always find myself reaching out, and eventually getting spit in the face... But I never seem to learn, still hoping to find that someone that will be there for me and won't give up on me... |
