If I could catch a golden fish Like old man from the story I'd ask him only for one wish Not wealth, nor fame, nor glory. I'd beg for chance to be with you It's all I've ever wanted A wish so simple and so true - Your love - forever haunts me. I know, impossible it seems For you to ever notice I shake, my heart forgets to beat As I step into your office... You smile, "How are you?" I'm a mess, my mind goes blank, I wonder So much I had to say to you... Instead... "Fine, thanks" I mumble. So little time I have with you In contrary to your lover Time flies, in only minutes few I have to win you over! But life is life and tales are tales Not happening, stop wishing I tell myself time and again But still, I feel like fishing... |

Gone fishing... ... so incredibly easy to relate to. Is that why we're here? To 'go fishing' for somebody who barely knows we exist? I loved this poem. It was so true... ... thought provoking, also. Keep it up!  Never give your heart away, it will always come back broken. ~Lil OnE~ |
