"War is Peace
Slavery is Freedom
Ignorance is strength. "
George Orwell- 1984

Give up your fine clothes for uniform
your garments dusted upon the web of decay.
Give up your chalice and the winery
the illusions and comfort it brings.
Walk naked, ugly organs limp with inadequacies.
Give up your loved ones to the graves and the merchants
commit your parents for their failures in nurturing life.
Give up your teeth that will only bite and gnash
below in the valleys of hell, snapping at rapists and criminals.

I instruct this wisdom upon you,
Follow with total purpose
Follow; walk in line pledge
allegiance to the Superior.

Let the pagans and the lepers spit upon your wounds,
rest upon the bed of nails give grace on the skin rack.
Let the whores and junkies taint and exploit you,
searching for nerves open and closed;
penetrated and damp, tightened for their passion fruit.
Let the murderers prey upon you,
except the knife wounds and fists for flowers.*
Let your friends betray your kindness
take their beatings with quiet silence.

I command you, follow or face genocide,
fear is your motivation, the only direction
that you cattle can understand,
dumb weak creatures.

Bow in the wake of Year Zero.
I guide you to the Promised camps,
Arbeit macht frei
I cleanse your disease in clinical factory
chained to an assemble line working
for your humanity. There are untold pleasures
in acceptance, pacifism equities  violence.
Break bread upon the corpse of your brother,
You are a single cell independent of family
and complete in loyalty to us,
distrust your parents, they engineered your slavery.
As always be humble accept our love
and tuition, return your service for our charity.

* "Fists for Flowers" taken from Intense humming of Evil by Manic Street Preachers. Full lyric text follows.

"Genocide is like a dessert. It is made of the flesh and bones of woman and children, it is sweetened with the blood of the innocent, and it is baked in the ovens of Auschwitz." Anon.

==============
Intense humming of evil

You were what you were
Clean cut, unbecoming
Recreation for the masses
You always mistook fists for flowers

Welcome welcome soldier smiling
Funeral march for agony's last edge
6 Million screaming souls
Maybe misery - maybe nothing at all
Lives that wouldn't have changed a thing
Never counted - never mattered - never be

Arbeit macht frei
Transports of invalids
Hartheim Castle breathes us in
In block 5 we worship malaria
Lagerstrasse, poplar trees
Beauty lost, dignity gone
Rascher surveys us butcher bacteria

Welcome welcome soldier smiling
Soon infected, nails broken, hunger's a word
6 Million screaming souls
Maybe misery - maybe nothing at all
Lives that wouldn't have changed a thing
Never counted - never mattered - never be

Drink it away, every tear is false
Churchill no different
Wished the workers bled to a machine

This is very raw, very vivid, and very painful to read...youve done a fantastic job again....but hey, be nice to us pagans...we are really friendly people (and spitting is a dirty habit!) I'll be reading this one a few more times over!

~*Sigh*,...where do I start? Hhm, well....I got all geared up for this one. I'm getting so much better at that....so ready to unzip my brain and swallow your words. I wish that you could see the look on my face right now. Hhm,...what to say, what to say...well,...Impressed. There, how's that? (still shaking my head). Later Brian, take care. *Peace.

This post reads like a horror novel but with eloquence and style. Simply beautiful!

Juls, thanks but I am starting to worry about these new poems I am writing, takinga journey through the mind of a facist is not exactly fun.

Dawn, thanks for the comments. You know when you have a poem and you just let rip and all these thoughts spill out, this is sort of how this was wrote. I am filing this poem in my experimentation pile. (there is no such thing as bad poetry in that pile. LOL).

Spitfire, I think is one of my shock poems.  bile poetry, I am getting lazy instead of seducing people into the darkness and bile, with this poem I just vomited upon them. Sorry about that, it is metaphorical vomit and will wash off. THanks for your comments.

Wren, yes if only what happened during World War two was fiction, which incidently some groups are suggesting. Thanks for your wonderful comments. THe poem is about facism in general.

Walked in line -Joy Division

All dressed in uniforms so fine
They drank and killed to pass the time
Wearing the shame
of all their crimes
With measured steps they walked in line
They walked in line

They carried pictures
of their wives
And number tags
to prove their lies
And made it through the whole machine
With dirty hearts and hands washed clean
They walked in line

Full of a glory never seen
They made it through the whole machine
Turn never questioned anymore
Hypnotic trance
they never saw

~Hey silly one,...why you saying sorry? No need at all. I like shockers! They are great entertainment and I was wearing my rain gear so I'm all set.  . Have an awesome weekend buddy. *Peace.

Hi Spit fire, lucky that you brought the rain gear, I will try and mellow out and think some nice thoughts instead, all these jagged words must be bad for my health.
Take care,
brian.

Shadowplay

Joy Division(Ian Curtis)

To the centre of the city where all roads meet, waiting for you,
To the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank, searching for you,
I was moving through the silence without motion, waiting for you,
In a room with a window in the corner I found truth.

In the shadowplay, acting out your own death, knowing no more,
As the assassins all grouped in four lines, dancing on the floor,
And with cold steel, odour on their bodies, made a move to connect,
But I could only stare in disbelief as the crowds all left.

I did everything, everything I wanted to,
I let them use you for their own ends,
To the centre of the city in the night, waiting for you,
To the centre of the city in the night, waiting for you.

"Beyond all this good is the terror,The grip of a mercenary hand,When savagery turns all good reason, There's no turning back, no last stand,"I.Curtis
