Get out of my way!!! I'm breaking free of you if it's the last thing that I do... I'm tired of living here while my poor heart drowns in it's tears... You've put me down so long that I don't know if I'm too strong... But I know I can't stay....So get out of my way! Get out of my way!!! I'm heading out the door because I can't live here anymore... I've given all I've got and now what's left is not a lot... But what is left is mine, and so are better, happy times... Guess I'm trying to say...Just get out of my way! Get out of my way!!! You've used me once too much and left big bruises with your touch... You never give me things..not even a simple wedding ring... The years are slipping fast..I want to make you part of my past... So, I'm leaving you today...Just get out of my way! |

a-alibaster.... Thank you for your kind words. It took me years and many rough learning experiences to toughen up. I hope that the younger generation will draw from the experiences of the older ones! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

Hi taramw.... Good....I was hoping I could write about my anger without sound violent! This is a subject that I hope young women will pick up on, and get themselves out of situations before they get hurt. Thank you for reading!! Hi Kethry.... I hate aggression, but there are times when it is a necessary means to protect yourself. Not everyone in daily life is nice and they are dealt with accordingly!! Sunny, I hope you don't mind me inhailing your poem for the strength it possess I am in need today I hate anger it makes me sick and I am tried really tierd of the long road I have walked I just can't seem to stand up for what I know is right and if I did HE would not get it anyway that right there is what is so frustrating about it all the delibrate blindness they choose so what they do is OK in their eyes. Reminds me of "The Great Escape". All of those men wanted so desperately to get out of that prison and be free. Also a poem I wrote about a woman that left me. Sometimes the only way to go on is to move on. I hope you will find the freedom you seek as you make this great escape...I am getting out of your way!!!...James |
