I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you...You are just being so sweet to me, and I just got here... I always thought that my poetry kinda sucked...but now everyone tells me they like it... I just don't know what to say... You are really helping me with all of your loving words, you know? So again: thank you all! Lots of LOVE to all of you, Virgin Suïcide... Hang on to your love, Hold tight, never let go Cause you never know what's gonna happen... and I know it... And I shall not rest, til I get my loved ones back.......... |

Just remember this....... Feelings make thoughts Thoughts make words Words make poems Poems are expressions Of the individual..... Like any other art, poetry is an outlet to share yourself and creativity with the world....... Keep writing, keep reading, and keep sharing.. my friend... That's what we're all doing here!! yea every1 is great here I think my poems suck but i still recieve positive comments i'm still ashamed of some of my poems though & only show them to my boyfriend so keep writing i'm always reading  LOVE ELMO |

I have to agree with you - I used to post in critical analysis and it was starting to make me feel like my poetry was not worth the pain and tears that sometimes went into it. After only 2 posts in here I am starting to feel better about my poetry and more confident about it then I ever have. So thanks to you all from me as well |

Welcome to the forum. You know there really is a place for critical analysis and there's a place just for expression. All poetry is worth something, everything we say, write, fee and express is worth something. Not everything I do is fantastic, but I do post in the critical forum at times, because I feel poetry is a craft, something to be proud of. keep writing. Kathleen |

I think this is the best place to share our writing, I'm yet to actually see one really bad poem or really bad critic for that matter. Keep up the good work people! Look back at your past, but don't stare too long.You might not like what you find |
