He sold his soul to sin and his Heart to the reaper, the darkness In him just keeps getting deeper. In his eye's you could see the devil His soul darker then black earth, All through life he thought life As a curse, where theres nothing worse. In his eye's you could see the devil His heart dark as charcoal Throughout life he never was Whole so he just let the world go. In his eye's you could see the devil He was born dark lived dark, So through his life he let evil Embark with a very ungodly spark. In his eye's you could see the devil I'm the lord, I'm the havoc, I'm the soul |

I liked the flow of this one, and the way the rhymes staggered inside the lines occasionally. Nice, dark subject. |

Well JJ I very much liked the first stanza, "He sold his soul to sin and his Heart to the reaper, the darkness In him just keeps getting deeper. In his eye's you could see the devil" I have sold mine the the reaper also. not much left of it. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
