This is another poem I am considering using for a song. Tempting Feelings When all the voices That ravaged your mind Have moved away despite the time You are empty and so alone You to want to hear all them some more You pick up the phone But there’s no one to call There hasn’t been for some time You shiver and shake upon the carpeted floor Looking out the window wishing for evermore And tempting feelings are residing inside Yes tempting feelings are irresistibly dry But tempting feelings are the greatest of them all So tempting feelings never let me fall Consciousness comes and leaves with drop of a hat All of my visions are blocked because of that And all of my focus is on the front door Locked from the outside I’m in here Help is never ever, ever near A movie screen without a movie to show That’s the kind of disappointment I deal with Every single day of my woes Now that’s not sad but just a shame Every where I look it seems to rain and rain and rain and rain And tempting feelings come and try to hide Yes tempting feelings never lie But tempting feelings are overtaking me So tempting feelings make me believe |

very interesting,, Len, is this going to be a fast song? one that I can't hear the words to haha ?? or a slow, one that is music?? Anyway it is an interesting poem. locked from the outside makes me wonder by what?? or did I miss it??. must have. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

~LenMcC1,...this is some powerful writing. You have set a scene so easy to picture with your words. The front door being locked from the outside is stabbing!!! Great work. Temptation.....ooohh, OUCH. This would make a damn good song. Take care. *Peace. |
