A yearning heart, Searching for something unobtainable, True love, ever lasting love, The whole idea questionable. Some have it and they are all too few, Am I destined to walk this Earth alone, Simply cos I haven't found you? Do you even exist? A love knowing no bounds, A love that anyone would envy, No anger, jealousy and the like, Simply put - you a part of me and I part of you.. I know it's out there, I've tasted glimpses before, But when will he find me, When will he knock on my door? A love so overwhelming, Even minutes apart is torture, Is happiness such as that, Awaiting me? I'm scared it isn't, Scared I'm waiting for something, I'm not meant to have, Perhaps for me the bell won't ring. Scary to think this way, That my very existance stands unfulfilled, Even scarier to think I may have already met him, And my heart was fooled!!! I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

~Isis,...each time I click on your work to read you, I know that somehow your words will reach deep and be so full of emotion. I hear your thoughts,...echoing loud and clear here. I feel for you. I'm ok hon thanks for the concern, just thoughts that run through the head, is it out there? Or did I miss it already?????? Glad you can relate and glad you like my maniacle thoughts.. The title was perfect Isis along with the poem. That question of is there more?, Have we settled for less? and what may we have missed, or may never have. This is something I can relate to especiallly when I'm tired or lonely. Sometimes even finding the right pone doesn't amke for the happy ever after. Thank you for sharing this thought.
