-Filling a Gap (The Bridge) -

awakening upon every phrase
i slip through my daze
decided on my why way of life
i bear through the strife
with some i get a tingle
with some i strike out
some days my words mingle
with some i stike out
i bare my heart and soul for all to read
and for them i bleed
lie down awaiting an oncoming train
take their pain
grant every wish i could
pay the price
though the price of life is not free
for them i bleed
with my words i anticipate my goal
with love as my shoal
love of life, of a life of love
a life in the reigns of the dove
for all, not just me
for even more than humanity
we're all in this together
regardless of the weather
why should even the smallest fraction give up
why must morals die
as a poet my time is never up
i live after i die
ahead i must wage my war
from here to forever more
when the right path is found
i shall never leave this ground
i am employed by an uncomprehensible force
you just can't dismount that horse
when a vivid dream unfolds
the soul should not be sold
look deeply into the eyes of fate
shake hands with destiny
find a way to integrate
life with poetry
live to be
awakening upon a ceartain phrase
i have filled a page
