Decent If I must Wake this day I must hold Fears at bay. The darkness claws Up out of my dreams, What I see Is not what it seems. Out of the fire Into the ash A soul come undone Under reality’s lash. The white light of pain Casts shadows on grief Into the darkness I cast for relief. I dread what I find I am my foe, To win is to loose, To loose is to grow. In absence of light Darkness can’t heal. As I descend, Into the night. John D LeClare |

~John D,...I really enjoyed the flow here and the sort of hammering into me thing going on. Had kind of a beat to it. A beat with a message that is. I'm glad that I caught this. It was surely time well spent. I do enjoy your writing. Take care now. *Peace. |
