Defining Love Thank you very much my dear for a message sent loud and clear. Looks like one of your days has arrived again for you to pause and say we can still be friends. I know you feel free to go ahead and tell me you love me still in between those sexual romps with a new friend you couldn't wait to touch and feel. Your definition of Love to me is lust and lust can only satisfy an urge and will always prove to be untrue. I'm fully aware I'll never receive real love from you. Yes, we drifted apart and were not close together as we should have been but why is it that this so called love of yours seems to come to an end each time a new opportunity for lust begins. So once again I listen unimpressed as I hear you say we can still be friends anyway. But could you possibly tell me the reason why I would want to stay in touch with an unfaithful woman I will never admire or trust always claiming she loves me and only loving her lust. It's simple my friend, you can't. a heartfelt read. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Wonderful poem....very expressive of your feelings...I've been there before with guys and there comes a point to where their presence completely disgusts me...now see...I hate men for a good reason. Joking...I don't hate them all. It's just a woman thing. But anyway....once again excellent poem! D.E. Listen to your heart for it knows the way even when you don't. ~*Angel of Darkness*~ "So what are we, helpless? Puppets? No, the big moments are gonna come...you can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts. That's when you find out who you really are. You'll see what I mean..." -Whistler *+Daughter of Darkness+* |

James this is so pithy and to the point. Loved it but hope it's not real for you. Be well Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- Cole |

very nice poem, and there is a difference between love and lust. Love brings you home to the same person, love is a committment. Love makes you trust in all this we see that lust can make you loose. |

hmmm...thought-provoking poem...makes me wonder about the people that so easily confuse lust with love and give up someone in their life that is kind and caring and responsible, etc. for a great "roll in the hay." Just what I like...a poem that will make me think for hours and hours...Nice job. Don't care what people say Just follow your own way Don't give up and use the chance To return to innocence. -Enigma |
