Shades Of Sky Have seen the moon go through changes Phased, eight times and blue. Have seen the stars reign in night sky And beam their lights on you. Have seen the sun give warmth of shine And rise up "all" each morn. Have seen the clouds that cover all When shadowed thoughts are born. All in all and now and then When eyes lift to the skies, The moon, the stars, the sun, the clouds In dreams, are made by I. When moon does talk to heart of me It swells the love inside, And opens up for all to see And nothing, can I hide. When stars do talk and glow my life I twinkle with the feel, Of happiness when dreams have turned The fantasy to real. When sun does talk, it's warmth of skin And tans my pale to dark, Energized, my mind becomes A difference seen, quite stark. When clouds do speak and blanket lay My days then shadowed, be. Hence, hoping for that gentle breeze To float them out to sea ... The light of moon and stars and sun Shines bright to lift me high. But when those clouds come drifting in ... That darkness, shades my eyes. MMoonchild Maureen Scully *99 |

Your line breaks were done very very well, I love the way it started out with the two stanzas and then went to four, it all fit. The words were stunning, this is classic poetry, in my opinion, done at it's best! Kathleen |

Maureen, where did I come from? well I showed up about 50 years ago! No, seriously, I've been a member of Passions for about 5 or 6 months, but I don't remember reading any of your poetry and I'm sorry about that, I feel so in tune with it and I had to respond and tell you how much I enjoy your natural rhymn and feel for the craft.
