Night Riders, Across the barren fields of stone, Advancing, Destroying, Burning the essence of home, Outsiders. Riding with the sword and torch, Destroying, Farmers killed and hearths scorch, Livestock was just turned to dead, Lay rotting, Poles crudely raised held a head With glares down sees her hacked limbs Rats feeding, Her motherhood harshly ends. T’was no gold, The dark riders didn’t look, No silver, Only joy, Everything was what they took, Leaving cold. Night riders, Advancing the evil days. Dark Riders. Gloom 2000 |
