First of I have to thank you all for the support you give me... (thanx a million everyone!!!) Indeed my poems are about me and how I feel, but, well, it gives me something to write about! Sincerely Broken_Heart Love was not meant to be I stand waiting Waiting for her love to come I may seem very crazy Perhaps for some Yet I wait there alone Only darkness I can see While holding a rose Love was not meant for me Blood drips across it's stem As it stings me more and more My tears runs beside it As pain I feel forever more Why does love hurt me again? My heart crumbles into rust As I die a little bit My rose turns to dust My soul is bleached by pain What pain can you not see? I life only for sorrow Love was not meant to be... Darkness upholds Light as much as Holiness downs the Evil within... |

Kindof reminds me of one of my last desperate attempts to reunite with my first wife. I called her up and told her I would meet her in front of the Chicken Dinner Restaurant at Knott's Berry Farm on a Saturday moring at 11:00am. She didn't really say for sure she would make it but I bought a dozen roses and waited from about 10 to 12 for her to show up. Other women started asking me for the roses. I explained that they were for a special woman that would be showing up soon. She never showed and I gave the roses to another woman and sadly went on my way. So glad that I tried but so sad that she didn't show to collect those roses...James |
