Standing on this jagged cliff, I look out into the horizon... fading sun over a pristine, blue sea of tranquility. Such an utter sense of calm washes over me, as the waves gently reach their arms out to the vigilant rocks below. Many times in my life I have caught a glimpse of nature's breathtaking wonders. I could almost feel that fading sunset warming my heart. So close to touching those twinkling nighttime stars. The clean smell of the rain-soaked world intoxicated me... I could hear beauty calling me from everywhere... yet, was unable to answer its call. It's strange how people can change. I am awakening now, emerging from the fog-shrouded days of past. And as these gloomy clouds begin to dissipate, I am able to see so much clearer all the splendor that I could only dream of touching yesterday. As I stare out into the peaceful ocean, the sun is lulled to sleep once again, and I realize that my life has only just begun. I am ready now, to spread my wings and fly. |

Very nicely written! I love the imagery presented here. Thanks for being here. "If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was to begin with." |
