The Happiest Man in the World Four long years ago Our lives somehow crossed, We never could have known then That soon rice will be tossed. About three years ago You convinced me to go to school. How could I have ever let you go? I know I have been a fool. It’s been about two years now That I moved so far away, You have since given me the reason That I needed to come back and stay. This past year has been Nothing short of a whirlwind. Together we have learned about our ability To forgive the past and transcend. May 5th, 2000 we went for dinner and a drink, Mexican food and margaritas that were swirled. I will always remember the day you made me, The Happiest Man in the World. |
