I will remember these days I know I won't forget Although it seems so strange and so familiar...yet I've done what I have done and now my Heart and Soul are gone Again the shots were called and I'm not knowing why And now I am appalled at how life passed me by I've done what I have done And now my Heart and Soul are gone Alone... the world just keeps on turning round and round to keep me yearning for the place I'm never bound And now my Heart is calling but I never hear a sound Oh, where can I be found ? Where can I be found ? |

Very sad poem, Geoffrey. Remember, it is always darkest just before dawn. I wish you brighter days ahead. Denise |

When Christ said: "I was hungry and you fed me," he didn't mean only the hunger for bread and for food; he also meant the hunger to be loved. Jesus himself experienced this loneliness. He came amongst his own and his own received him not, and it hurt him then and it has kept on hurting him. The same hunger, the same loneliness, the same having no one to be accepted by and to be loved and wanted by. Every human being in that case resembles Christ in his loneliness; and that is the hardest part, that's real hunger. --Mother Teresa in "a gift for God" How like a winter hath my absence been From thee, the pleasure of the fleeting year! What freezings have I felt, what dark days seen, What old December's bareness everywhere! --The Bard--"sonnet 97" hang in there --it will get better,,not much at first, but who knows-- heck you should have seen me 4 years ago if you think i am bad now..lol Jamie Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. - Virgil. "Yield thou not to adversity, but press on the more bravely". |
