Death until my dying day
my empty eyes will still
and there now is no more rain
and storm clouds do but fill
Grey maintains
   no warmth remains
      the Void I now descend
Destroyed my Heart
   just blown apart
      and I must start the end
A friend to none who is a friend
My emptiness inside I tend
and there now is no more rain
Frayed mountains
   dust fountains
      and I will walk no road
Betrayed my dream
   guess it must seem
      that I'm ready to explode
But really...

I'm just dying till my dying day
Crying wills as crying may
But crying's endless to my eyes
a little more inside me dies
each day I come to realize
Love stole my Heart
   Life took my life
      and I am in the dark
An evil Dart
   alive with strife
      has found its feeble mark
I'm crawling down a downward way
The Moon, my drink has shunned the day
A bitter pill is my entree
and I am losing words to say...

Today...what is tomorrow ?
From Past till Now
I've died of sorrow
and there now is no more rain...

I could feel the pain and hopelessness in your words, Geoffrey. Writing, I have found, is an excellent outlet for the pain. I'm sure most of us have felt this deep type of sorrow, some more than others. Excellent writing.
