Baby

Moonlight,
Filters through the curtains,
Kissing her bedspread.
Loving hands,
Smooth a wrinkle from her sheets,
Caress her tiny face.
Her eyes are closed,
A smile plays on her lips.
She sleeps in silence,
A tiny porcelain doll,
Lying with her teddy bears.

This is so perfect, a beautiful poem, expressing so clearly the sleeping baby.

yep, now just add some big dark eyes for when they are supposed to be sleeping AND letting you sleep, but instead they want to play   .....no really great poem

A real life photograph of innocence seen through the eyes of a parent? Lovely.
