SUNRISE KISSES The dusty greys of remnant night Await her touch of morning light Arise my love and come with me Let us sit together, quietly. Morning sun kisses newborn day Chases darkness playfully away Breathe new life, drink misty air Her arms outstretched for all who care Her slender fingers awakening stroke Embracing gently in golden cloak A song is played it soothes the woes And rescues peace from evil foes. Compassion flows like healing balm The pale new day, her aura calm Healing wounds both old and new She loves the time she spent with you. |
