In The Moonlight Shadows Dancing ~*Marge Tindal*~ Softly through the window rays of moonbeams touch my face Shadowed by the memories of another time another place ~o~ In the moonlight shadows dancing reminding me of love once glancing back at me through another's eyes lit with promise and surprise ~o~ Love that made my heart freely dance now merely shadows of a taken chance In the moonlight shadows play dancing shadows of another day ~o~ In the moonlight shadows dancing In the moonlight shadows romancing Sound of music from above filled with promises of love ~o~ Dancing shadows on moonlight bearing Lovely memories we are sharing In the moonbeams romantic glancing In the moonlight shadows dancing ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

A beautiful piece, Marge! I love how you repeat "in the moonlight shadows dancing" throughout the poem, a great effect. Take care, Melissa Honeybee |

BrianM~ Thank you, love. Melissa~ I sincerely appreciate your comments. PoetdeVine~ Mine too - Thank you. BSC~ Thank you so much, hon. Mike~ Yes, just a touch ... but 'soft and sweet'. Balladeer~ This beautiful piece came about as a challenge from our own Hoot gal. I thought that it spawned some of the loveliest poetry of any challenge to date from many of our poets. I'm thankful for the inspiration. Thanks for the 'icing' ... Love ya' ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Definatley a must for the book, melodious and sweet-sounding. Beautiful Marge. Yes, I am here, but I am dead, not alive, my body goes on, my spirit has died, and I though alive, feel dead inside. "Rose Petal" |

Marge, this really is beautiful. I agree with Balladeer, the title could stand alone as poetry. But then you followed up with a poem worthy of that intro. I loved it. Pete |

I recall this one...in fact, you started quite an inspirational flurry when it first hit these blue pages... perhaps Ron will want all of those who participated to make a specific section in the book!? Oh wait, then we would have to get the pairings of those who pen off of each other so well... ah well, perhaps Volumes II, III, etc. etc. Sunny ~~~Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. Ok not that you really need one more vote, but I do like this piece here. So I will hit that vote box anyway. I agree with the sad tone of it...but it's peaceful at the sametime in a way. -Holly I know well what I am fleeing from but not what I am in search of. Michel de Montaigne |

You sure set a high standard for the rest of us. I would need a rocket tied to my behind to reach the peak of quality in writing that you exhibit while singing in the shower. Simply said, you SHINE. A life isn't significant except for its impact on other lives. |
