        My Computer

    You frustrating beast
    and my companion, too
I hate you and love you
    and wonder at you

    you byte me, make me
    crawl through windows
    keep me up all night
    leave me in limbo

    You give me gifts
    of which, I'm unaware
    Cookies without milk
    and boots in pairs

    You taunt me, tantalize me
    And, snicker, too
    I know you do
    I have been watching you

    All day, all night
    you tease me,
    please me
    drive me crazy

    You stare at me
    and laugh at me
    making me glare
    and pull out my hair

    I explore you, adore you
    My computer, my
    foe and friend
    leading me to dead ends

    you laugh at me
    I know you do
    I have been watching you

Oh, God! I think I'm in love

Teresa King

Thanks for the smile. As with most things that make us smile, this had tons of truth in it (maybe an uncomfortable amount   ). Thanks, netswan.

This is a great big thank you to all of
you for your comments and votes.

I am recycling in case some of you have
missed voting hehe.  But, mostly -
in appreciation to you all.

I am sure this book will just be filled
with gorgeous poems. I wish that Troy
Hoecherl would have submitted one.
If any of you can encourage him, it would
be great!
