"Bald Hill"

Where am I, on this deserted cliff edge
Where the night's not clear yet very clear
Taking in the beauty, I rest upon the sand wedge
Feeling bizarre but surprisingly not feeling any fear

A breeze caresses my face as it blows
The night air calm with a sense of magic
The mystic moon overwhelms me as it glows
Not to have experienced this would be so tragic

The dark clouds forming such beautiful figures
Finally breaking and passing slowly by the moon
In awe as I watch such a sight, my mind it triggers
This night this sky this moment, a time most opportune

This place, an eerie feeling about the night
As she shines brightly upon calm waters below
La Luna, Oh how she beckons me to take full flight
As I am seduced, by her surrounding halo of golden glow

Excitement takes over as I feel a sudden chill
I want to visit here again, this place they call, Bald Hill.

Bald Hill sounds like a very eerie, yet very alluring place!

Good job!

Dark Angel,
I loved the mood and truth of this, and I know exactly what you're talking about.

Yes, I am here, but I am dead, not alive,
my body goes on, my spirit has died,
and I though alive, feel dead inside.

DA - Bald Hill, from the way your words painted it, sounds like a place I'd like to go.  This is beautiful.  Bonnie

It's such a sacred place. I would love to visit there as well. We all need our own space and time, dont we? A perfect book candidate.
