The blooming

A special dawn spreads early rays
From a young summer sun;
Dawn's born, twilight mist stays,
Dewdrops on a bud, run
Down, at a leisurely pace.
Between the dawn and the morn,
He stood enjoying the cool phase
And gazed at a bloomer being born.

As lovely petals uncurled,
Nature's beauty unfurled;
A tiny droplet shone,
Diamond shaped, 'twas a unique stone
A bead dazzling like a crystal sphere.
Between the dawn and the morn,
Happy sounds of birds he began to hear
And awaited a bloomer being born.

A garden where daisies and lilies posed,
There blooming was a lovely rose;
Impatient, waiting in front, of a door closed,
Getting anxious, as the morning sun rose,
A tiny wail, a shrill cry he heard, quite hoarse.
'It’s a boy', she said, 'and the mother is doing fine'
Smiles all around. 'Congratulations', added the nurse
And relieved, thanking God, he thought, 'the bloomer is mine'.

I came back twice, trying to compose a reply. This was a cute piece and I liked it muchly, but am still at loss for the insightful witty reply I had so longed to write for you *wink*

SI,
Loved the double meaning. Of course, I'm not going to think too hard about that second stanza -- it's a garden. Yes, that's what it is.

Sudhir~
Just precious.
Now you've got lots of 'bloomers' to change.

I can't say I've read your work before. Wow, I'm really missing something. This was excellent! I cannot find words to describe just what thoughts are running through my mind. So I won't try.

But I will look for your work in the future! Beautifully done!
