Sent upon the wind Twilight layers the azure lie Euphoria spreads the sky. Whispering censure in the breeze Talking to the brooding trees. Standing o'er the forest green Shaking leaves at things unseen Filtering light in wild coquette. Kismet of illusions net. Read the sounds upon the vale Listen close to breaths inhale The symbols hieroglyphic swell The weeping deep within the shell. Twilight plays a subtle mean It speaks of things that are for glean. My heart is full of verse and sign I can but treasure it as mine. Rest well within the gardens scene Forever, rules my mystery queen. |

Sy - of all the poems I read in the forums, yours are the ones that tease me best with every line - so unpredictable, and yet so right. I really enjoy your play with words that are not predictable. This is another "Sy" poem - so well written, so smoothe. |

Hi Seymour... Thank you for writing this... I love poetry that's interlaced with nature. This was exceptional and shows your observant nature! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

Seymour~ How very, very longinly lovely are your thoughts ... 'Twilight plays a subtle mean It speaks of things that are for glean. My heart is full of verse and sign I can but treasure it as mine.' ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Seymour, your wordings tempt my senses and make me think. "Standing o'er the forest green Shaking leaves at things unseen Filtering light in wild coquette. Kismet of illusions net" (Stll trying to figger out that "wild coquette") Enjoyed this lots ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
