I heard a whisper in my ear As I shed my endless tears My mercy is endless, Though your not sinless... Forever tied by that scarlet thread I tried to hide, it was the shame Is this just another game? Thought I'd have to beg and plead I heard you say, there's no need I held my head, oh the dread... You cupped my face, my tears erased Without a trace...
