Look into my eyes, the window of my soul. The place I tell no lies, the place that I am whole. Do you see silent cries, of the horrors untold. The pain of the lies that cause me to withhold. Do you see the fears that I've never let go. The unshed tears, that my cheeks will never know. Do you see the child I keep hiding in the the darkness. She only escapes in my sleep when I am defenseless. Do you see the chains that hold me down. Do you see the pains within which I drown. Do you dare to see all that is true? Or do you turn from me because of what hides in you. repost from #6, |

you ask me what do I see I will tell you NOT what I see ... but what I know I know you are a poet and in your words your heart shows I know that you are strong MUCH stronger than they can see, and I know your time to fly has come and I know this butterflys gonna fly free. ****** this poem effects me so deeply tonite, as do you. OOHHHHHHH my dear sweet Holly---I wish I could not see that which lies within your eyes. The pain that caused all this anger(frustration) must be immense. You have vented well with this one and I hope it helped even if only a little. Keep venting and remember....there are those out there who will listen and finally take notice.
