If I have no more love to give
And I refuse your tender touch,
If I can not speak gentle words
When you have given me so much,
When there's no sparkle in my eyes
When yours are shining bright for me,
Then I must go and set you free
For I am blind, though I can see
That I am lost in misery.

I've been trying to put into words some of these exact thoughts.  Nice touch!

Oh how short yet powerful are your words.  It is indeed such a confusing topic...when one dries of love and the other is wet.  What should happen to these lovers?  Such a poem evokes so much conversation, great poem.
