Along the river bank, lies the sunrise
A sight of beauty, a site of peace
A sight of freedom, a sight of relief
A vision stretched out, to include the trees
Blooming flowers, and sparrows singing
At night by the fire, where I can feel at ease
A place where I belong, of quiet in the streams
My lonliness at rest, and my mind is at ease
To put my feet in the water,
as the rain cools my knees
When you stand alone, the world is free
