If I were to need you If I were to need you I would take you as you are I would pull you from the night sky You would be my star If I were to need you I wouldn’t need another rose For the world would see That the most perfect rose Was walking beside me If I were to need you I wouldn’t need the sun To light my world If I were to need you I wouldn’t need any water You would quench my thirst If I were to need you As badly as I want you I would hold you in my arms Until you needed me As much as I need you |

PoetdeVine.... I find it hard to write like this at times Thank you for you words of encouragement. Juliet.......I am lthe lucky one. Trew.....thank you I will do my best. It is far easier to write a sad poem than one like this. |
