If I were going to need you I'd know right where to go You've been waiting your whole life To find a love to grow You planted the seeds very young Writing your wishes on a list Searching for that one tender heart That would touch your soul in a kiss You settled for one, then another Thinking you could find it there But all they offered were promises And more pain than you could bear Then I came as if from a dream And made you believe in love again I chased away the clouds of dark And made you the happiest since, remember when?
