Hidden Memories of Tomorrow

Two hearts in silence...waiting to share
One brief moment...and then a lifetime
Should we reach out...do we even dare?
This tunnel of visions is not one of crime

Memories from the past in another time
Carried deep within the history of reddened sky
Summer caressing the photos of lives in rythmic mime
Closely guarded behind the nations natives watchful eye

Born into the birthright of all memories blessed so pure
The path to love in natural wonders of freedoms take
These are the etchings upon which we must endure
As now once again we are called not to forsake

Memories of yesterlife breathe in our souls
Photos of tomorrow waiting to be taken
A journey of our hearts within life's tolls
Two becomes one not to be forsaken

The tears upon paintings once shed
Hieroglyphics of love and sorrow
Journeys upon love now being bred
With hidden memories of tomorrow

Enjoyed the mood your words have conjured within this place I sit and read... "Hieroglyphics of love and sorrow
Journeys upon love now being bred
With hidden memories of tomorrow" being my favorite lines.

yes, it's neat how you did that Mark...I have read some of your work and I think this one rates high up on my list of great ones, possibly because I can so well relate now at this point in my life.

Mark, this is phenomenal. Just so perfectly expressive of the thought and emotion.

"Memories of yesterlife breathe in our souls
Photos of tomorrow waiting to be taken"

If I HAD to choose lines I liked best, those would be it. But they are all so wonderful.  I have to read more of these
