Waterfall

Misted cascades of cleansing
pouring forth into open breezes
lifted through surges
filtering through stone

Sparkling beads of promise
free of the waste of life
dancing upon the air
distorted images within

Blue swirls of passions
crying upon fresh traces of white
falling smiles hidden
beneath resounding roar

Calmness birthed of the power
resonating spheres of seduction
resting along the shore
in a pool of purity

I echo what Sudhir has said, this is simply beautiful and displays so much of your talent, this is your best poem to date and the imagery is breathtaking.  You have painted a unique picture of the waterfall.

Take care,

I like the way this begins strong and powerful in cascades and ends quiet and calm in a pool.

You have penned liquid pleasures.......flowing from your heart to your pen to us.....the circle of poetry.  What beautiful images and feelings you convey through this piece, I loved the peaceful feel of it and the grace in which it flowed.  Your poetry takes me on a journey everytime, thank you!

You have described a roaring waterfall beautifully....

I have stood beneath those roaring falls.....Listening to the earths calls...rushing water cascades over me...
I feel the earth in all it's majesty....

It reminds me of living in the pacific where I lived for a few years.....The most beautiful oceans and falls in the world....Great work here!!!

Julie :)

"Calmness birthed of the power
resonating spheres of seduction
resting along the shore

...and sunlight
sparks crystalline
in lengthening shadows
inbetween...

Mark, I could not help but add this line, as the coolness of the poem evoked such a personal feel...
