Chanel No. 5 you knew her in many ways, by her stride, her laugh, nothing to hide you loved it when she passed near absolutely oblivious of you her scent wafting through the night’s air Chanel No. 5 floating she could have been yours she would have been yours you waited too long danced the wrong song bought the wrong perfume Chanel No. 5 weaving in white dress she undulates never does she hesitate toward the he who captured her gaze there, in twilight’s haze passed by you as if in a daze Chanel No. 5 longing you can still sense her perfume as she softens in his gaze and cascades into his eyes as if they were alone in the room there, in twilight’s haze Chanel No. 5 singing 21 September, 2000 ©Karilea Rilling Jungel [This message has been edited by Sunshine (edited 09-21-2000).] |

Ms. Karilea Oh my - not at all what I expected - but soooo much more. Absolutely Wondeful. I am now imagining a series of poems: White Shoulders Halston Canoe Fendi Picasso and even those I missed because I couldn't stand the scent of Poison Obsession (others will come to me ...) Even the smell of 'Evening in Paris' which I bought my mother as a child ~G~ |

Bonnie, of course I do...a few others I won't mention [Emeraude...and I always wear Tabu...don't you?]...LOL, thanks! Martie, my Mom introduced me to this fragrance, and it's so hard to find! And I remember your poem... Mr. Yeats, Sven, I'll leave it up to you gentlemen to waft your pens and form a "scratch and sniff page"...and thank you both for your fine comments...
