Today is new,
The morning dew,
Clinging to the leaves,
Singing of the birds,
Rising of the sun,
Glimmer in the skies
Meadows filled with daisies
how oft it all happens
I seem to take for granted
but today seems all aglow
with a freshness in the air
so I guess it caught me by surprise
Everything seems new
just as a newborn cries out
for attention,
I seem to see nature calling to me
look at me,
can't you see all God has given you
to glory in his creation
And I looked with new eyes
and heard the birds sing, the sun shine,
the skies were bright blue
and the daisies were bright and tall.
Sometimes I forget ,I'm glad God reminded
me when I heard the angels flutter by me
and whisper in my ear,
be still and see God in all his glory.
What a sight,
so if you would today
just take a look and be reminded
just how good God is.

Amen...what a wonderful peace and what a wonderful piece.   In our rush to do whatever it is we do in life...sometimes we rush right by...life.  Great Job here.
