Soon you will be leaving And I'll have to say good-bye When it's time for us to part The tears will fill my eyes Everytime I turn around Your reflection I will see Looking from the window Just staring back at me I'll turn ever so quickly In hopes to find you there And pray that you remember Just how much for you I care I hope that you'll always know You forever have a part A really special place Down deep within my heart Know that as you walk away My fragile heart will break And as my tears start falling My shoulders will gently shake Good-byes are never easy Though my heart is rent in two The times we've had I'll cherish Cause I learned of love from you |

Thanks so much Rebecca... Yup, you captured those feelings great... For everyone who wondered, I -jokingly- asked WhtDove if she could write me a poem about goodbyes, and she cheerfully obliged coming up with this lovely poem  ).I like it a lot, captured so much of it I don't know what to say... Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |

WhtDove: Another challenge. Since we both have border collie crosses why not write a poem about them (or all dogs) and their boundless energy... Sure to be great for all involved. My puppy went to her first horse show today... Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |

Amber good challenge, I know I wrote one about her and the balloons. I think I titled it "Kodak Moment." Not sure, I'll have to look that one up. Maybe it will be appropriate, and maybe I'll have to write another one. ThanksSnowpants (love that name) I'm glad you enjoyed it, not sure I'm happy that anyone can relate to it though, if ya know what I mean. We all cross those moments in our life, and they're never easy. Thank you! |
