The Hunt

Cold nights compose my soul
which stars shade my undue folly
of steps alone on waters shore
my naked body drifts slowly.
The eve, my ally, my friend, demon possesed
shatters secrets that I do tell
of floating over this land upon graceless wind
contracting my enemies command.
Eyes of a wolf that sing my dark praise
destined to wander this complacent home
where strangers spit on lesser men
to pick their lives up once more.
What consequence I have found today
of gilded dreams from these learned men
who ravage this worlds land of hope
completing their last effegies to them.
But I have in my sights
a revolution that becomes my wind
of tasking their souls this day
relinquishing to me their torrid ways.
Let fall and crumble their pestilence
which mere men could never tame
rushing forth the new found freedom
as serenity takes a holiday.

Again, your use of imagery is just incredible!!!

Your words dig far below and deep into the soul with this one.  Your writing leaves me forever in awe......

Hugs,
Marina

PS>  Are you still wearing a uniform here???    LOL
