Life’s Little Inspirations There are so many different Small things in our surrondings That makes your heart grow warm The ones you don’t always notice The ones that lie hidden beneath All the noise and chaos of life The sound of a child’s playful laughter Echoing on a afternoon breeze. The ray of sunlight shining Into a dim and darkened room Like a single stream new of hope A full moon that hangs heavily In the black velvet sky above Reflecting a soft glow on The nights shadows laying below The sound of laughter emerging From a loved ones lips with glee The comfort of your best friend Over that special towering bowl Of chocolate chip mint ice cream The warmth of your favorite blanket Offering shelter from a cold winters night. It’s so easy to forget how many Wonderful things there is in this life Things to inspire us and give us hope We just have to learn how to Open our eyes and see what is there And let inspiration’s faint flicker Grow and warm our hardened hearts Take the time to look around and smile And enjoy life’s little inspirations [This message has been edited by rosepetals25 (edited 09-11-2000).] |

What a beautiful wake up call you have penned. You are so right when you say there are so many things in life that we should be thankful for and your wonderful words caress the heart as a gentle reminder. |
