Of a hearts shatterd discord
that brings timeless faith to the fore
in passions of the soul that lives today
and beauty's rest makes quick my own rage.

My heart you see, is made of silk
catching all that glistens in the sun
as rainbows evident of hours lost
have traced their memories on my life.

And what of those dreams I once thought through youth
the prance of angels that brought me to you
did they just fade and pass away
to live lifes hopeless parody in silenced days.

Of that I cannot give good grace to you and hope
for my grace is within and needs to be honed
to tune my mind and then my soul
and hope my heart will mend in whole.

For I feel the winds that call me to them
the northern air that flows deep inside
and praise to a sun that at times cannot rest
to follow these dreams I do not know best.

And kiss with grace, my heart and soul
allowing me my journey of hope
and pray do not fall to angers hate
for the love I have known and that shall not fade.

Michael, this one is very nicely penned, or typed as the case may be and times being what they are. I can feel the sorrow, frustration, and hurt of the speaker, and see his heart of silk reflecting memories of light, laughter and love. I did have a few problems with scansion, spelling, and punctuation, however. By and large, though, this one is very well crafted. I do hope to read more of your material as time permits.
