In Your Poetic Mind

There is a time
for everything

There is always that
memory that refuses
to fade, the laughter
that fills your day,
the tenderness
that fill your nights

to speak your
heart & relieve
frustration, or seek
encouragement efforts
made to express feelings

when love wasn't scared
to be love, when storms
of summer were a symbol
of passion, and winter
the symbol of desire

to speak of words that
are hidden within the
verses of life, whispering
from lost souls etched in
granite to pacify the heart
and soothe the minds fear

I sit in silent seduction
as it gathers on pages
and hides itself within
this poem

Your aroma still lingers
when I stand there,
still on soft ground,
still lingers as the ocean mist
spreads you over me
I find peace ~LC~ 99

I loved this - but I think you knew these words would captivate

Speaking from the heart is the only way I know how to write.  You have penned superbly in this and I have enjoyed your first two posts and look forward to many more.
