Balladeer and Long John, were talking late one night When Balladeer said boldly, John your halitosis breath's a fright You'll have to ask your Lorelei, to talk about your diet May I recommend something, that has a little bite? Long John said I'm listening, but turned his face away "That's good though" Balladeer did state "or I'd probably faint this day" Lorelei should be in this discussion, her opinion could we sway What I suggest is innovative, but would take your breath away. Then Balladeer asked Long John. "What is your eating plan?" Long John stated simply, "vegetarian " 'Deer he said, "this will not do, come on eat like a man" how can you expect to have sweet breath, if you've never eaten Spam "Meat it is, the answer clear," suggested vocal Balladeer "So meat it is and morn and night, each meal you eat it right and tight" Long John thought about it "Meat you say, that's cock and bull" Then Balladeer reminded him of the mighty Hannibal And roamed the alps with elephants, those elephants were trainable Who just ate meat, "well better yet, become a savage cannibal!" "Meat" screeched poor Long John, "how would this meet my needs?" "human meat" he shrieked again it goes against my creeds "are you suggesting Balladeer, I can use advice you seeds, unless I'm the type of cannibal that's only eating Swedes." "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Oh, yes, Kethry - Once you and I were allies, but now I see through your scheming ways. Well, I have preempted your strike with one of my own, and, though not as crafted as yours, I think it will do. Oh yes, you are a dreadfully nawwwwty nawwwwty girl! *spank spank* |

'Deer, It means 1) he ain't taking your advice 2) Swedes = white, round, vegetable somwhat sweet. 3) Swedes = Residents of Sweden. Sheesh it's a bit hard when you have to explain the punch line. I should have more front than Myers and just lie doggo on you. ![]() "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Kethry likes to pick on John and Balladeer it reminds me of being adolescent, my dear, we taunted boys that we liked the best, when we'd rather be kissing them, while ignoring all the (pimply) rest. XAngel doesn't get it, what sounds and rhymes with banal is exactly what "deer" said when you take the "g" out of angel. And the "LONG" in John may not be related to height, but something else that women long for in the night (oops, that was naughty!). Heh heh, couldn't resist! Corinne |

Sunshine, Thank you for your comment, glad you got a chuckle out of it. Lorelei, Thanks for the warning, you take care of more than Long John's breath. You Hear. Corinne, I've been told my humor's juvenile or asisine or something, but as for liking Long John and Balladeer, eeewwwwwwww. ![]() Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

'Deer, I will lie doggo on you and you will be able to hear the zzzzzz from the next room. I actually wrote a doggo poem about LJ I can't post it though. ![]() ![]() Corinne thanks for the insightful comment. I am actually passionately in love with both of them. I'm thinking of using them as breeding stock. Could be a bit of money in that. If I can sneak them past Severn. *laughs* "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |
