so very clever -   the unspoken - like the unnecessarily covered - is so pregnant with meaning ... (I love ellipses too)

serenity, I'm so glad you enjoyed this with your morning coffee. Have another cup and write a Haiku. Everyone's doing it!

Long John, I think I need a little more practice in this Haiku thing. I am just too wordy

Marge, I'm grinning from your grin, you little quipper

Wilfred, The unspoken is the most powerful word. Sometimes it can't be spoken, just a veil sometimes cannot be removed. In the case of the Haiku, words are unspoken for a
reason - it's against the rules!

Denise, It's great that you are laughing. Glad you liked the little poem. Hope to see you soon

Liz,

Love your haiku!!  You have done a wonderful job and told a neat little story here.

LOL Liz! Lovely compilation here ... brilliant actually! Mark challenged me not long ago to write a haiku, and I ended up with limericks, senyrus and a tanka thrown in for good measure! So I guess I finally made my attempt, and can relax now. I had great fun with it. They're kind of addicting these little guys. Wonderful writing here ... I loved this!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Lone wolf, Thanks for your comments

Kit, I'd love to read the poem of which you speak. I'll have to look for it. In the meantime, Happy Haikuing!
