Let me show you what it cost
If you gave me a million dollars
It would be on a token
of my broken heart.
Linger here and you will feel
my arteries begin to harden
and turn black
for lack of showing
any feeling.
Stay awhile be assured
your only catching a glimpse
of the obscure perks
of this trip
for which you only have taken but
a sip.
Linger a minute and you will see
for my hearts scattered,
more than torn into

a battered heart.

Sea thanks I do need some glue and make it super glue nurse hurry! I may seem dramatic at times and I am! lol hey thanks for that glue really hardens those vessels, shew I can hardly walk but at least I'm not coming apart. ( sense of humour is the key) to something oh yeah laughter.. hehe

Linger indeed, at times (alot lately) I feel like that fancy crackle glass stuff....could shatter any second, so easily.

xangel, sometimes I linger to often I'm afraid, maybe I should step aside and let someone else step on some glass lol no I would never ever do that, It hurts to much.

thanks wilfred, And I appreciate your words, which help ease the pain. Sometimes we all have a little rain and othertimes lightning seems to knock us down.
