Precious Light

Love
does not exist.
Perhaps that's the way
that you feel.
A husband..
A marriage...
and remnants of Love
lost in the deal.
The calmness of this world
now crumbling apart..
Stress arriving each day
to torment a fresh broken heart.
Your slice of once a good life
replaced now with endless strife.
Questioning did he ever love you.
Was his devotion kind but untrue.

Look on the blessings...
you still have your lovely daughter with you.
She needs your love even more today
and she'll always Love you.
Life will go on
day by day
and night by night.
And someday not so far away
your heart will overcome this darkness
and walk anew in the light.

I can't take the pain away
still I wanted to take the time to say
I understand the pain you are feeling today.
It happened to me when my wife walked away.
The circumstances not exactly the same on that day
but the pain and sorrow was delivered to me exactly the same way.
And time did pass and take my sorrow away
and I can cleary see that precious light today.

James~
Always nice to let a friend know we're there.
A hug, a prayer and a sincere showing of compassion often means the world to those in emotional pain.

Nicely stated.

This is sweetly beautiful, thoughtful, and touching...wow!  I like the way it just "flowed" down the page...great format!  As always, your words are a delight straight from your heart.  So glad you shared this delicate piece with us...it's always hard, this type of situation.  Bravo!

jmlee...
Your friend is very lucky to have the support of one with such a caring heart. This was a tender piece, and it's good to know there are still folks in this world who care about each other!!
