          Naught but love

She is the only one I know
To slow the sands of time their flow.
To let me live an atmosphere
Today as clear as yesteryear.

Lost nothing of her fatal grace
Projected warmth of her embrace.
Fills my every day with pride
Feelings that I cannot not hide.

She is the only thing in life
This prejudice I hold my wife.
That shines in honor through my day
In changeless stay to stay my way.

I know not what's in store for me
I only know of times decree.
And if and when there comes an end
I had no better love or friend.

Yet this is all I can aver
That I loved her, loved her, loved her.

This is simply lovingly adorned.

you must be one of the lucky ones
i give up
don't believe in it any more

thanks for a lovely read, though, and i'm happy to hear somebody found something that lasts longer than a snickers bar left on the dashboard of my car in 90 degree weather... oh so sweet.. but sticky... and a mess to clean up after

whatever... don't know if that made sense or not ... in sort of a low mood today... but your poem was really really good and i liked it anyway, even though i don't get it... glad you do!   < !signature-->

Doreen,
Believe non of what you hear or read and half of what you see and you will be as good as anyone including me. *L*

Seymour, a touching testimonial to your relationship...this is quite charming, to be sure.
