When I came to Passions back in November (has it really been that long?), I began here in Open #4. But, I was posting mainly in Dark. It was there that I met a person who has meant a great deal to me over those months. That person is Isis. Since the beginning, she and I have shared many things, highs and lows, good days and bad. She's become my kindred spirit, my sounding board, and most of all. . . my friend. When I was working on what to write about for my 3,000th post, I immediately thought that I would write something for her. A while back, she created a character named Brianna. About a month or so ago, we created another character that entered Brianna's life named Connor. We've already told some of their stories in Dark and in Adult. This poem is Connor's pledge to Brianna at their wedding. It is dedicated to Isis, with my wish for her happiness, and my gratitude to her for being my friend. . . Lisa, you mean a lot to me, and I'm glad to call you my kindred spirit and my friend. Thanks also to you, the members of Passions. . . you have welcomed me in and been just wonderful. . . I would have never thought that I would stay here this long, but you all have made it worthwhile. . . Thank You!! When first I came to passions Connor, Brianna struck my eye A wondrous song of enchantment of love that could not die As I wandered through the tale my passion then did soar and it opened up for me a long closed and seal-ed door Now with your dedication I can see no end and love is not the only trait, of those who call you friend. Sven my kindred friend, THANKYOU so much for this dedication, you've touched my heart with this as no friend has before. Thanks hon, I adore this, and must admit I'm overwhelmed somewhat. Congratulations on 3000 time flies doesn't it? Connor and Brianna are the lovers we all envy, and Brianna was in tears when Connor spoke these words to her. Their love knows no boundaries, it will survive in this world, and the next always............... Give her some time and she will think of some equally beautiful words in response to Connor's.
