Suddenly Something I was alone Alone in a world of Broken dreams and Shattered promises I was frozen, so cold Shut away where pain Couldn't reach me But neither could Anything else I was cold Unloved and uncared for Waiting for what? Not to feel pain Avoid loving, avoid life It was dark, No lights, to cheer me I didn't want Anything else I was awakened By something suddenly All around me The dark dreary days Began to take on light I was warming A spark ignited Begining to see Something began Now I see something Finally I believe I believe again My heart can feel My pulse still race I have a smile There is light breaking Down the doors of My personnal prison Love has entered here With love, comes light Freedom, and spirit Soaring forever |

Marsha~ Love is indeed the light that takes our hearts into a place of glowing. Lovely are your thoughts on this. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Thanks Mark, it's reading the perfect poetry that I find from all you master poets that does it. And love too of course |
