I loved a love that wasn't true!
I wish I had a love like you,

Someone to make me feel complete,
Someone to calm my passions' heat.

On summers night, someone to hold,
To keep me warm as days grow cold.

But I don't have a love like you,
I loved a love that wasn't true!
