You never saw your mother's face, Or felt her warm embrace. God had other plans on his mind, Taking you and leaving your mother behind. You are now special angels from above, Enjoying God's grace and love, Your mom's eyes are filled with tears, As she remembers you through the years. Your dad has joined you in heaven's air, Now he watches you up there. As the both of you fly up above, Please send your mom your special love. The streets of gold are your to roam, Heaven is now what you call home. Until you meet again some day, Watch over your mom in your special way. Cathy Bohannan Poem was written in memory of twins Brittany and Courtney Whittaker.(poem was just selected for publication from Internation Library of Poets, wanted to share it with all my friends in Passions. Oh, how my heart hurts for you. Such a sad thing, yet the beauty in your words I know they are watching over you and someday you will see them again. So happy about this getting published. Our tears are all with you. |

cathybohannon, just wanted you to know that after I read "Two Special Angels", my heart was so very touched that I wrote a poem for you called "Special Angels Watching Over You". I dedicated it to you today. Hope you don't mind. |

Cathy my dear sister. You know that this is a very special poem to me as you and I both know the mother. Very beautiful dear sis. really shows your heart. ***** A note to all who read this. It is NOT about my sister but a very good friend of ours. It is all in the same sadness though and To SUSAN....you are a dear. I know that you took it as my sister as to her she did not realize that a note should have been attached. Your heart is a huge one and with your permission I or Cathy can pass your poem on to the REAL mother. Please let either one of us know. Sorry for any confussion. Hugs to you sweet poet. |
